If you visit the Orange House

DO
  • ask about the turtle conservation project
  • offer to help with cleaning the beach or taking care of nests
  • explain to others how to protect turtles
  • call Mona and Habiba if you find any sign of turtle activity or any evidence of stranding
  • place beach umbrella only near shore where Mona and Habiba have indicated
DONíT
  • leave litter on the beach
  • visit the beach at night during the nesting/hatching season
  • shine lights at night that could disorientate hatchlings
  • light fire on the beach or near it
  • do not remove any mark (like string or other) that you find on the beach
  • do not take pictures of turtles during the night
  • If you dig holes or make castles, remember to erase them before you leave the beach
  • do not take too many shells from the beach
  • do not drive on the beach
